The Story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den – A Reminder of Faith and Courage
Once upon a time there lived a brave and faithful man named Daniel. He served in King Darius’s court and was known for his honesty and integrity.
One day, King Darius issued an edict that all who prayed to anyone but him would be thrown into the lion’s den.
Daniel paid no mind to this edict and continued to pray to his God. When the king heard of this, he was furious and Daniel was taken to the lion’s den.
But God had other plans for Daniel. He sent an angel to protect him from the lions. As Daniel lay in the lion’s den, the angel of the Lord encircled him and kept the lions away.
The next morning, when the king opened the den, he found Daniel safe and unharmed, much to his surprise.
The king acknowledged that Daniel’s God was the one true God, and Daniel was released.
