Who Can Accuse You? Max Lucado Video on Overcoming Accusations

Who Can Accuse You? | Max Lucado’s Insight on Overcoming Accusations

In the video “Who Can Accuse You?” Max Lucado explores the theme of overcoming accusations. In detail, he draws on biblical references to offer comfort and assurance to believers. This message is especially relevant for those facing guilt and self-condemnation.

The Power of God’s Forgiveness

Pastor Lucado emphasizes the power of God’s forgiveness. He cites Romans 8:33, which states,

“Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.”

This verse reassures that only God has the authority to judge, and He has chosen to forgive.

Jesus as Our Advocate

The pastor also highlights Jesus as our advocate. According to 1 John 2:1,

“But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.”

Without doubt, this passage illustrates that Jesus intercedes on our behalf, defending us against accusations.

The Enemy’s Accusations

The video addresses how the enemy, Satan, attempts to accuse us. Revelation 12:10 describes Satan as the “accuser of our brothers and sisters,” constantly bringing charges against believers. However, Lucado reminds us that these accusations hold no power in the presence of Christ’s sacrifice.

Living in Freedom

Finally, Pastor Lucado encourages believers to live in the freedom that Christ provides. Galatians 5:1 urges, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” This verse calls believers to reject the chains of accusation and embrace the liberty found in Christ.

Hope and Assurance & Overcoming Accusations Through Jesus Christ

In “Who Can Accuse You?” Max Lucado delivers a message of hope and reassurance. With biblical references and practical insights, he guides viewers in overcoming accusations and living confidently in God’s grace.

  12. I really enjoy your videos, find them inspiring and a blessing on days when I feel alone and unloved. So when I saw your post about daily texts I was excited. Until I asked a question and received a response wanting money for an orphanage in Nigeria. I know this probably isn’t you, but they are using your name and responding to all comments the same way. Are you really you? I know this video has nothing to do with the post, but didn’t know where else I could ask
