Believers are indwelt with the H S and ‘sealed’ with the Spirit of truth.
Unbelievers can not comprehend this because they think the
Preaching of the cross is foolishness.
To us that believe it is our salvation and our spirit bears witness with the Holy Spirit of God that we are born again. That’s how you know.

As a teen in the late 70s I read that Jesus said “take heed that you are not deceived” I know the Lord showed me that the first deception that I must recognize is self-deception. Self-deception is powerful and must be overcome.
Pride is the glue that holds us in self deception. Fear God and receive wisdom and a love of the Truth. God bless you.
