Receive Grace Video by Max Lucado

Receive Grace Video by Max Lucado

Are you having a “good day” today? Max Lucado says that every day has the makings of a good day.

But, the main point of this video is how to receive grace from God daily.

Jesus forgave the thief from the cross. So, the hope for us is that, up until the time of death, we can ask for grace and mercy — and Jesus will provide for us.

Is it that simple?

Can we really be saved from our sins just by asking?

Read these two Bible verses about forgiveness and grace (There are many more)..

Luke 23:34

“But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.”

Proverbs 28:13

“One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.”

And finally, the verse I place at the end of just about every Bible lesson is of course John 3:16.

It’s the one used to point others toward the forgiveness of Christ. You can read the passage and how to use it here.

Remember Me

“And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” – Luke 23:42

This is what we need to say to God daily.

I hope this video from Max Lucado about receiving grace helps you to understand why we need Christ so much. I know I did. Thank you for watching and I hope to see you again soon.

In Christ,
Bob

  5. Dear Mr. Lucado,

Thank you ever so much for these encouraging and much needed respites of wisdom. I have read your books for nearly 30 years.

I have endeavored to serve the Lord since I turned 18 and rededicated my heart to Jesus. I’m 46 now. Through each season following that rededication I have struggled w/intense anxiety. (Anxiety has been a life long battle for me.) I am being treated with medication and also see a Christian counselor.
I have a difficult time extending grace to myself and have lived each year since age 18 with fear of not being ready to meet Jesus. I love Jesus and want to serve Him desperately, but I’m living under the law instead of under grace. Please pray that my mind and heart will be healed. I know His return is soon.

    God bless you,
    Jenny
